MatchThatPaint is a free tool. You will never be asked to sign up, pay a subscription, or provide a credit card to use any feature on this site.

We keep the lights on through display advertising. You may see ads on various pages throughout the site. These ads are served by our advertising partner and are placed around the content, never inside the color matching tools themselves. We believe the tool experience should be uninterrupted.

What This Means for You

Our advertising revenue comes from page views and ad impressions, not from any specific paint brand or retailer. This means our color match recommendations are based entirely on Delta E color science, not on which brand pays us more. No paint manufacturer has paid for placement, preferential matching, or favorable reviews on this site.

What We Don't Do

We don't accept sponsored content from paint brands. We don't skew match results to favor any particular brand. We don't sell your personal data. We don't require accounts, logins, or email addresses. We don't gate any features behind a paywall.

Our Commitment

The goal is simple: build the best paint color matching tool on the internet and support it with advertising that doesn't get in the way. If ads ever start degrading the experience, we'll adjust. The tool comes first.
